My Italian postcards feature notable experiences from my semester abroad in Sorrento, Italy. While abroad, I collected a variety of postcards to put up on my wall and was inspired to create some of my own based on photos I took. I image-traced all of the photos and added some graphic elements to give them an illustrated effect, similar to the postcards I saw being sold in souvenir shops. Studying in Sorrento broadened my perspective both as a person and a designer so I aimed to create postcards that are both visually immersive and contextually relevant.
